Mohammad Khalifah
Technical Team Lead · AI & Robotics Engineer
I design and integrate industrial robot systems end to end — ROS 2, computer vision, and the software that lets people actually use them.

Mechatronics engineer (Al-Balqa Applied University, 2024) based in Amman. At Cyber Robot I lead a technical team delivering robotics, AI and web systems — from system design and task planning to hands-on integration. I also teach ROS 2 and industrial AI to universities and industry chambers.

AI & Robotics Engineer
Nov 2024 – Oct 2025Joined Cyber Robot
- Lead system design for hardware–software integration projects: industrial robot cells, production-line solutions, AI and web platforms.
- Split work across a fullstack, AI and IoT team, track delivery, unblock issues, and build alongside the team.
- Delivered ROS 2 / ROS 1 robot applications on Fairino arms with computer vision, safety logic and operator UIs.
- Built hardware-control backends and dashboards (FastAPI, Next.js) deployed on Linux VPS.
- Set up a robotics lab at the American University of Madaba and trained its academic staff (SLAM, Nav2, MoveIt).
- Plan and deliver training courses and workshops on ROS 2 and industrial AI.
- Prepare research reports on AI and robotics for factory automation for Jordanian companies.
Production Engineer Intern
Al Saad Hygienic Paper Co
Internship · On-site · during B.Sc. studies
- Trained in the fundamentals of PLC programming and classic control on production-line machinery at a hygienic paper plant.
- Gained on-site exposure to industrial production processes and basic electrical control circuits.
Membership Development Lead
IEEE BAU RAS — Robotics & Automation Society, Al-Balqa Applied University
IEEE member since 2022
- Led membership development and technical training for the IEEE BAU RAS chapter, growing the robotics and automation community among students and professionals.
- Ran Sumo Camp (electronics and programming) and a hands-on Arduino course, in person and online.
- Delivered workshops on PV systems, 3D printing and an introduction to automation.
- Judged the Arduino competition at the “From Venus to Universe” conference and supervised IEEE PRISE projects.
- Completed IEEE BAU RAS courses: Introduction to ROS (27 hours), SolidWorks (24 hours) and a 3D printing workshop.
- Memberships: IEEE and IEEE RAS BAU (2022 – Jul 2024); IEEE BAU AESS and PES (2023 – 2024).
